Where to now?

Salvation

Jesus was a man who claimed to be God. Think on that for a minute. If that were true, how would it change the way you thought, felt, and lived this life?

At Waters Church, we believe that Jesus is God. We take him at his word. Because of this, everything we do is all about Jesus. We invite you to learn more about this man who is God and how you can find forgiveness and new life in him.

Water Baptism

Baptism is an amazing time for new believers to declare that they now belong to Jesus. It is a public declaration of our faith in Christ, as well as a celebration of our new life in Him. Baptism does not save the believer but is instead an outward symbolic representation of the inward work of grace through faith. If you have not been baptized, we encourage you to do so in obedience to the command of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Life Groups

Our hope is that Waters Church would be a community of friends engaged in gospel-centered relationships resembling the early church (Acts 2:42). Life Groups are the best opportunity we have for that. Therefore we believe active participation in a Life Group is critical for your spiritual health as a part of the local church.

Gathering in groups creates an atmosphere that causes believers and non-believers to grow in their understanding and application of God’s direction in our lives. Groups help create the community we seek in life’s journey. We believe discipleship happens in relationships, and those relationships are formed in Life Groups.

This is why it’s so critical for you to be in a Life Group here at Waters Church.

Tithe

Money and church can be a touchy issue – but it doesn’t have to be. We don’t give because God needs our money, and we don’t give because the church needs our money. It’s much bigger than that. We give because God asked us to, and following through shows that we trust Him.

As believers, it is critical that we understand what the Bible says about tithing. The purpose of tithing is to teach us to put God first in our lives. God doesn’t need our money. Instead, He wants what our money represents: our priorities, passions, purposes. Make a commitment to tithe and dedicate yourself to it. And more than anything … trust God and let Him prove His promises.
