Waters Kids is built around a simple concept: Jesus is the hero. Each Sunday, your child will learn the Bible and how it relates to Jesus in an age-appropriate way. The lessons are fun and approachable and taught by committed volunteers and staff who serve Jesus by serving you and your kids. Ultimately, the goal of Waters Kids is to get kids excited about Jesus and to get families talking about Jesus together throughout the week.
When you walk in the door, right behind the friendly faces, you’ll see Info Central. You can either stop there to let them know you’re visiting for the first time or continue straight to the Waters Kids check-in area. At the check-in area, you’ll be greeted by a volunteer or staff member who will help you register your children and get them to the correct, age-related room. You’ll be handed a sticker with your child’s name and what color room your child is in, and a separate sticker for you to check them out after service.
We have volunteer security officers at all Waters Kids locations. When you pick up your child, we’ll make sure the numbers on your sticker and your child’s sticker match, before dismissing them. After admitting your child to class, you can grab a cup of coffee in the cafe before heading into worship. Your child will do some activities initially, then gather with all our kids to sing songs to Jesus, and then work through the lessons for the day.
